Introduction


Industry thought that they had beaten the unbeatable. With nicknames like "the Millionaries Special," "the Wonder Ship," and "the Unsinkable Ship," the Titanic was societies idea of the perfect vessal. She was said to be unsinkable, because of her powerful engines, water tight doors and her thick hull. She was labeled with the idea that she could withstand what ever nature dished out and still make it to her destination on time.

The goal of the White Star Line was to create a competitive edge for themselves. They would control the passenger trade with several gigantic ships named the Titanic and the Olympic. They would be the last word in comfort and elegance. Within days of the first voyage, The name Titanic wouldn't go down as the most luxurious ship afloat, it would just simply go down.
